In addition to submitting an application with the County, a Personal History Statement must also be filled out to initiate a background process. Click the tab “How to Apply” and to reference the Personal History Statement section to access the background packet.

Under supervision, learns to apply the principles and techniques of probation work; supervises and counsels individuals detained in, committed to, or sheltered in one of several County juvenile institutions; supervises minors assigned to Work Project; and provides close supervision of minors placed on home supervision.

Written Test Date:
If you qualified for the position and your application has been accepted, you will get a notification in the mail 2-3 weeks after the application cut-off deadline.  You can also check the status of your application on-line.
